The Artist is a magnificent film with a big heart, and a brave filmmaking attempt by the director, producers, actors and everyone involved in creating it. This film is a strong reminder of what cinema in its pure and simple (and not simplistic) form can do and give to an audience, that is the magic of motion picture!

Side note: After seeing the amazing talented dog in the film, one could well say, who needs a CGI dog anyway.

I hope that Jean Dujardin will win an oscar. After Marion cotillard who won an oscar for ”la vie en rose”it will be great to see another French with the most prestigious trophy.

Jean Dujardin has always been an amazing actor, usually hilarious but perfectly capable of very subtle roles !

This should be an amazing film on Blu-ray as well. The surround sound should be a treat… not to mention the visuals which should be stunning.

This looks like it could be a great film, rather than the nostalgia piece that I first thought it was. I’m really interested in seeing it now, but knowing my luck it won’t reach any of the theaters near me.
